W06 Group: Project Checkpoint

Overview

The objectives of this group project checkpoint is to provide a update on the progress of the project and prepare for final submission as you continue to work as a group gaining experience as a software development team.

Before the Meeting

  1. If your are this week's Group Leader:
    • Remind the group members of the meeting time and location at least one day before the meeting.
    • Prepare for the meeting by outlining the meeting objectives / tasks.
    • Review the group project requirements.

During the Meeting

  1. Invite the Spirit: Open the group meeting with prayer and invite the Spirit into your discussion.
  2. Have each member report on their assigned tasks.
  3. Discuss overall project progress and discuss any issues or concerns.
  4. Make final assignments and a plan to meet to record a video demonstration together, showcasing your application.
  5. Group Leader: Select a new group leader for the next meeting.

Submission

  1. Review any individual assignments made during the meeting.
  2. Each group member will need to submit an update in Canvas.
    • Provide a summary of the group meeting and on the group activity throughout the week by including challenges, successes, new tasks, and/or change orders, etc.
    • Provide a list of participants to the live meeting.
    • The URL of the group's Azure Project.
    • Report on at least one task from your team's project board that you personally worked on this week. You will need to include a description of task with details about its function and fit within the project scope.
