W02 Team Activity: Database Design
- Purpose: Participate in a 60-minute online team meeting to help learn ways to reverse engineer database structure.
- Task: Discuss how to reverse engineer a database structure from a web site.
Overview
Data drives the world around us, in this exercise you will view the Church's use of data to help build the kingdom and gather Israel.
Instructions
- Start with a prayer to invite the spirit to help you with your studies
- Create a MS Word document in your Group's Channel in Microsoft Teams named Team Activity 02 to record your teams' thoughts.
- View the Hymns section of the Church's website. Hymns
Sample hymns web page at time of writing - Discuss the items and organization of the hymns portion of the site.
- Discuss the following questions and record your answers in the Word document:
- What entities might be used in the database that is supplying the information for this web page?
- What are some of the attributes that would fit within each entity?
- What data type would be used for each attribute?
- How might the entities be related to one another?

Submission
- Submit the Word document you created in Microsoft Teams to Canvas
- Complete the W02 Team Activity: Participation Report in Canvas
