ITM 111: Introduction to Databases

W01 Assignment: Data in a Tabular Format

• Purpose: Learn how to put data into a meaningful pattern.
• Task: Enter the three days of data you have gathered into a tabular format.

Instructions

1. Before beginning this assignment, complete the W01 Activity: Gathering Data.
2. You should have gathered data from your camera or computer images.
3. Enter the data you collected into any tabular format you want (spreadsheet, word processing table, columns, and rows of some sort). The format of how you enter the data is totally up to you. You don't need colors, patterns, or graphs, just data. 
4. Submit the document or spreadsheet on which you collected data or submit an image (screenshot or image) of the data you collected over the past three days. 
   1. Instructions to make a screenshot using Windows: Press PrtScn. This copies the entire screen to the clipboard. 
   2. Instructions to make a screenshot using a MAC: CMD+Shift+4. This will give you crosshairs to choose the borders of the screen.
5. Do not submit the camera roll data sheet.
