Image Placeholders

Overview

A placeholder in web design is a temporary element that reserves space for content that will be added later. Image placeholders reserve space for images that have not been created or acquired yet, so you can build and test a layout before the final images are ready.

Application

These placeholder services are free and do not require an account. Request an image by putting the desired dimensions in pixels (width and height) in the URL. Remember to replace placeholders with your final images, and give every image meaningful alt text.
